Bibimbap – Homemade tasty Korean mixed rice dish
Korean mixed rice (Bibimbap) is one of the traditional dishes and culinary of Korean. This is a tasty and attractive dish made from many different materials, mainly vegetables and rice indispensable.
Korean mixed rice is easy to make and called Bibimbap. You can make this dish at home for the family to enjoy. Korean mixed rice is a combination of rice, vegetables, eggs, meat and chili sauce. This dish brings nutrient balance for you, so very, very tasty. The best if you use this type Korean chili sauce (Gochujang).
The raw materials of Korean mixed rice dish
- 200g glutinous rice (you can use ordinary rice or Japanese rice).
- 200g beef.
- 150g bean sprouts.
- 100g Korean pickled radish.
- 1 carrot.
- 1 fresh zucchini or cucumber
- Black fungus (wood ear mushroom), shiitake mushroom.
- A little honey.
- Korean chili sauce (Gochujang)
- Sesame oil, sesame seeds were roasted, salt, pepper, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, vinegar.

– Glutinous rice is washed and cooked.
– Beef is cut into thin slices, marinated with a little soy sauce and sesame oil.
– The vegetables are rinsed as well as shiitake and wood ear mushroom. Then, you should julienne the vegetables such as carrot, zucchini (or cucumber), black fungus, shiitake and pickled radish one by one.
– Pour into the pan a little sesame oil and stir-fry vegetables such as carrots, zucchini, and cucumber separately. You can stir-fry zucchini shiitake and wood ear together.
– Sprouts are quickly blanched in hot water with a little salt. Then take them out, dip into cold water and drain. Mix the sprouts with a little sesame oil and other spices.
– Beef was stir-fried with a little minced garlic, soy sauce; add a little sesame seeds and pepper to beef is fragrant.
– Eggs: you can fry eggs like sunny side up eggs.
– Mix Korean chili sauce with 1/2 tablespoon of honey, vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to make the sauce.
